How I can help

I am dedicated to providing high-quality and compassionate therapy for people seeking support for a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, low self-esteem, family and parenting problems, relationship difficulties and low self-confidence. I offer a safe, inclusive space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and find self-acceptance.

You might be looking for help with a specific issue or struggling with a general sense of sadness or dissatisfaction, either way my priority is that you have the non-judgemental place to express yourself, feel heard, and ultimately find new ways to move forward.

If you are interested in exploring what it might be like to work with me as your counsellor, please do get in touch. We can arrange an initial session to talk and find out whether the support I offer would be useful to you.

I understand that the first step to seeking therapy can be daunting, but I will do my best to make this as easy as possible for you.

Prior to becoming a counsellor I worked in publishing for over 20 years across digital and print media. The experience of managing large teams gave me insight into how individuals interact and the patterns that emerge among groups. Throughout my publishing career I wrote many interviews and profiles of people, trying to understand the significance of their life stories, and this continues in my counselling work today.

How it works

Want to give therapy a try? This is how we might work together

Enquiry

I am happy to talk through questions and offer a free 15 minute call or zoom. If you want to proceed we can arrange a full session.

Initial session

This first session gives you the chance to explain your situation and see how you feel in therapy. There is no pressure to start regular sessions beyond this point.

Continuing therapy

If you want to continue we would meet weekly on the same time and day for 50 mins. I offer short or long term therapy, which you can end whenever you wish.
